About the Safe Conflict Project
Our Mission: Empower individuals and organizations with collaboration, education and action to end Major Armed Conflicts
Our Programming:
1. Synergizers: Synergizers are collaborative events focused on a specif conflict area and designed to engage key stakeholders with one-another. We create environments where conflict resolution experts, business leaders, media leaders, and many others can collaboratively engage to amplify the work being done for peace in a region.
2. Global Leadership Training: Run in partnership with The Conflict Transformation Collaborative and Colorado University at Boulder's Presidents Leadership Institute, we bring young people from around the world together to learn how to lead across cultures, languages, and conflicts. Part college course, part wilderness adventure, and part mentorship program with other area youth, our main program runs during the summer here in Boulder. We also offer condensed versions that can be held anywhere in the world.
3. Global Civic Action: Global Civic Action is a collaboration with numerous organizations throughout the Peace Community to bring the work of Conflict Transformation Professionals around the world into the digital age. Some objectives of the project include: a Google Earth-based social media crowd sourced platform to offer a real time view of projects around the world and a mobile app to connect civic action to the needs of NGOs on the ground.
- We are a 501(c)3 based in Boulder, Colorado
- We are 100% privately funded and all outside contributions go directly towards projects
